Please be advised that the full closure of South Service Road between Ogden Avenue and Haig Boulevard has been extended to September 11, 2026, weather permitting.
The extension is required to accommodate design revisions necessary to address public safety requirements and due to recent inclement weather, which have impacted the completion of the remaining work.
The Contractor has coordinated the closure extension with MiWay, and MiWay has confirmed that there are no concerns with the extended closure period.
The detour route will continue to be implemented to safely guide motorists around the closure area.
We kindly request that the City and Region circulate a closure extension update to emergency and first-response services, including Fire, Paramedic, Police, and any other relevant agencies, to facilitate emergency response planning during the closure period.
