Mississauga dogs invited to make a splash at the annual Dog Swim on September 12.

Since launching in 2019, the Dog Swim has become a popular end-of-summer tradition, bringing together dogs and their owners for a day of swimming, exercise and social time, all while supporting animals in need.
To participate, dog owners must register online and complete a mandatory waiver form and follow all Dog Swim Pool Rules. Dogs must be vaccinated as outlined in the City’s rules.
What
The City of Mississauga’s annual Dog Swim gives residents the chance to bring their dogs to enjoy the outdoor pools before they close for the season.
Note: People are not permitted in the pool, but may watch their pets from the pool deck.

The Dog Swim will take place at three outdoor pools in Mississauga.
- Applewood Outdoor Pool
- 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- 1 to 2 p.m.
- 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.
- David Ramsey Outdoor Pool
- 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- 1 to 2 p.m.
- 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.
- Lions Club of Credit Valley Outdoor Pool
- 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
- 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
- Noon to 1 p.m.
- 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.
- 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Cost
The Dog Swim is free to attend. Donations are encouraged in support of SCARF and the Animal Services Shelter. Any donations received help:
- Provide specialized veterinary care and surgeries.
- Support foster animals with specialized diets and care.
- Fund improvements to animal housing and shelter resources.
