Please note that the above will be filming interior & exterior scenes for a TV series “In The Dark” at 24 Peter St, 45 Port St S and Bay St on December 1st between the hours of 6:00am-11:00pm. Prep will be conducted on November 29th and November 30th, 7:00am-7:00pm daily. Wrap will be conducted entirely on private property on December 2nd, 7:00am-7:00pm.
A permit has been issued to allow parking on the following:
- West side of Mississauga Rd S between Port St W and Lake St.
- North side of Bay St between Mississauga Rd S and John St S
- One side of Peter Street South between Port St W. and Bay St (clearing only)
Camera equipment on the roadway, boulevard and sidewalk has been permitted as long as two-way traffic is maintained at all times and to allow maximum 3-minute traffic stoppages (Peter St S and Bay St, as noted above) under the supervision of Peel Regional Police not between the hours of 7am-9am and 4pm-6pm.
Production has also been granted permission to park production support vehicles at JC Saddington Park, North Lot (53 Lake St, Ward 1) from 7am, November 29th through to Dec 1st, 11pm. Crew vehicle parking has aldo been permitted for Marina Park, South Lot (15 Front St S, Ward 1) on Dec 1st, 6:00am-11:00pm.
Affected residents have been informed of these activities via notification letter. A release form survey was sent to residents with less than 20% objecting in order to allow:
- Afterhours filming (before 7am)
- Overnight Parking
- Sunday Filming Activity (Prep, Sunday Nov 29th – 7am to 7pm)
- Recurring Location (Bay St)
