Why it matters

The City shares budget and financial information openly so residents can understand how decisions are made. The reports also reflect the City’s financial standing and show how tax dollars are used to fund everyday services that residents rely on. This includes services like fire services, MiWay transit, libraries, roads and infrastructure, parks, trails and support for small businesses.
