A message from Passion for Parkinson’s Foundation – Rock the Walk:
We really need your help and it’s easy for you to make a huge impact.
On September 10th, The Passion for Parkinson’s Foundation will host our first “Rock the Walk” fundraiser at J.C. Saddington Park in Port Credit. The Foundation is run entirely by volunteers and as a result 100% of funds raised will be fund FREE Arts and Exercise Programs designed specifically to benefit people living with Parkinson’s Disease.
Over 50% of people with PD pay out of pocket for exercise programs and physiotherapy to help manage their symptoms. This reality continues to motivate the Passion for Parkinson’s Foundation to fundraise to provide FREE Arts and Exercise Programs and we are committed to keeping funds raised in our community working for our community in Halton/Peel.
We need to reach those with Parkinson’s as sometimes they are very isolated because of this degenerative debilitating disease.
How you can HELP:
- Post our Rock the Walk flyer if you can. (Let us know if you would like to post and we will deliver a copy)
- Share our Flyer on your social media platforms and newsletters
- Allocate space to promote the walk on any of your digital signage
- Join us at the Walk as a special guest
Your support will help us keep our Parkinson community moving forward!
