Provincial Offences Act Part III Summons Matters Conducted By Phone Beginning February 1, 2021

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Provincial Offences Act Part III Summons matters in the Ontario Court of Justice will be conducted by phone only, as of February 1, 2021.

Part III Summons issued at roadside and Part III Summons issued for by-law offences will be conducted by phone only in a passcode access conference call. In-person court attendance is not available for these matters until further notice.  Only Part III Summons (first appearances) are proceeding at this time.

Letters for the Part III Summons taking place on or after February 1, 2021 include instructions and a meeting identification number and passcode on how to participate in the conference call proceedings. Video or screen sharing is not available at this time.

If a court date changes, notification will be sent by mail with a new date.
