The Justice Luncheon is a fundraising event we hold each year that features a keynote address by the Chief of Peel Regional Police about the successes and challenges of policing in Peel. From Saturday, May 1 to Thursday, September 30, fines for parking and stopping violations will increase to $100 on local roads, City parks and municipal parking lots south of Lakeshore Road, from the east city limits to Meadow Wood Rd. Parking violations occurring between 2 to 6 a.m. are exempt from the increased fines. Read More

Mississauga residents and commuters to the city can expect to see the City of Mississauga’s budget dollars hard at work as the City moves forward with its 2021 construction season and an investment of more than $76 million into Mississauga’s transportation and stormwater infrastructure. Construction projects within the City’s Roads and Stormwater Capital Programs involve repair and maintenance of critical infrastructure that helps keep all road users moving safely and manage stormwater to reduce the risk of flooding. This includes road resurfacing, sidewalk and multi-use trail construction, bridge repairs, creek and erosion control work and construction of new stormwater management facilities. Read More
