Metrolinx launched its virtual spring engagement for the Hurontario LRT today, providing an update on the project and producing two new videos, including one about the operations, maintenance and storage facility located just south of the Highway 407. Since the project’s last virtual engagement in the fall, construction and construction preparation has continued on the corridor under provincial health guidelines as an essential service. Activity will continue to pick up and much of the corridor in Mississauga is expected to be in active construction by the fall. The project is on track to be in service by fall 2024.
The virtual engagement will also offer residents and businesses the opportunity to submit their questions through the Metrolinx Engage platform.
