- Peel Region does not accept grass clippings at the curb or at Community Recycling Centres, which was an approved decision by Council in February 2019.
- Please do not mix grass into waste, yard waste or compost – doing so uses more resources and time to filter contents so that waste, yard waste and compost can be processed.
- Instead, Peel Region encourages residents to leave clippings on the lawn – otherwise known as grasscycling.
- Information about how to grasscycle and its benefits can be found by visiting: ca/waste/grasscycling/
