The province has shared that on Monday, March 29, residents aged 70+ will be able to start booking vaccinations through the provincial portal.

Information is available in a press release available here.

This is great news for our residents, as it allows booking at our Peel Public Health clinics in addition to the hospital vaccination clinics, who opened up their booking systems for this age group on Thursday, March 25 at both hospital sites and the University of Toronto Mississauga.

Appointments at community clinics run by the Region of Peel will be available starting as early as Monday (same day) and throughout the rest of the week and can be booked on the provincial booking site. This includes sites at 7120 Hurontario Street and 10 Peel Centre Drive, Paramount Field House, SaveMax Soccer Centre, the International Centre, and Caledon East Community Centre.

Booking options for all sites in Peel, including those operated by our hospital partners, are summarized on the Region of Peel’s vaccine booking website.

Residents who do not have the internet, or have questions or other challenges related to getting vaccinated can call the Region of Peel COVID-19 Vaccination Line at 905-791-5202 (open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week)

Seniors who need assistance getting to and from the vaccine clinic can use TransHelp by calling 905-791-1015 at least 48 hours before their appointment. Residents do not need to be a TransHelp client to use this service.
