Region of Peel’s Proposed 2022 Budget Now Available

The Region of Peel’s proposed 2022 Budget is now available. Regional Council discussions of the Operating and Capital Budgets begin on Thurs., Nov. 25 at 9:30 am.

The development of the Region’s 2022 Budget was guided by the Strategic Plan and the community priorities recommended for consideration prior to the budget, including additional resources for service level adjustments due to COVID-19.

The proposed 2022 Budget includes investments of $3.8 billion to improve peoples lives in their time of need, ensure communities are integrated, safe and complete, and ensure government is future-oriented and accountable.

  • The 2022 Budget deliberations will begin with the Regional Budget Corporate Overview presentation on Thurs., Nov. 25 at 9:30 am.
  • Due to the efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, there will be no public access to the Council Chambers.
