Epilepsy Awareness Event – Sunday, February 27, 2022

By Events, Ward 1

March is designated as Epilepsy Awareness Month. Each year, we hold an event to create awareness about epilepsy and to briefly educate the public about epilepsy.

In June 2012, the Canadian Government passed the Purple Day Act declaring March 26th “Purple Day”, the official day for Epilepsy Awareness across Canada. This day is to recognize all who have been diagnosed with epilepsy along with their families.

You are encouraged to wear purple to show your support for people with epilepsy and to increase public awareness of this disease.

The Crooked Cue has generously offered to host our event this year, and we look forward to meeting our Port Credit neighbors in celebration and education of all that is epilepsy.

Final Reminder to buy tickets! Please come out of the house and network will fellow Port Credit Residences and Epilepsy South Central Ontario!

For only $20 Dollars you will get unlimited free pool & ping pong for 4 hours and Pizza!
