Alectra Relocations – Front Street South Improvements, WO#639782

Dear Customer:

The City of Mississauga is undertaking a road and marina park improvements project along Front Street South from Lakeshore Road. Please refer to the key map attached to the back of this letter. This project requires Alectra Utilities to relocate poles and underground cables to accommodate this work. Alectra Utilities will be performing the following construction work:

  • Install/remove wood poles
  • Install new pole mount transformer
  • Install underground secondary service cables
  • Install overhead conductors

Alectra Utilities has received the necessary approvals and permits from the City of Mississauga to proceed with this work.

Alectra crews will be working primarily on Front Street South from Lakeshore Road and the surrounding areas of Port Street West and Bay Street will be impacted minimally by construction activities. Read More

Road Closure at Mineola Road West and Hurontario Street

What work is taking place?

Construction crews will be installing utilities along Hurontario Street that will also need to cross Mineola Road. This will result in a temporary closure of a portion Mineola Road West. Works are scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from September 12-18, 2022. Read More
