Update: Overnight Work on the Lakeshore West Rail Corridor at Port Credit Station Continues

What work is taking place?
With the construction of the “Push Box” structure complete, construction crews will continue with micro-piling activities and the installation temporary track supports within the railway corridor at Port Credit Station near Hurontario Street. These activities are expected to continue from March 2022 to late May 2022. This critical infrastructure will allow for excavation activities to continue while the underpass structure is pushed into place with minimal disruption to train movements overhead. Once in place, the underpass will allow for light rail vehicles to enter and exit Port Credit Station. Read More

128 Lakeshore Road East LP is interested in developing an 11 storey condominium building with ground floor retail uses on the property located at the north-west corner of Lakeshore Road East and Ann Street.

In order to implement their plans, the applicant will need to amend the Official Plan and rezone the property. This meeting is being held to allow the applicant and City to hear the thoughts of the local residents early in the process.

City of Mississauga Lifting Proof of Vaccination in City Facilities Effective Today

Following direction from the Government of Ontario, the City of Mississauga will no longer require patrons using City facilities to provide proof of vaccination starting today.

In accordance with the Provincial Regulations, the City will also remove all active screening, capacity limits and contact tracing, however the Mandatory Face Mask By-law will remain in place until further notice. Read More

Every Child Matters Flag Raised Permanently in Mississauga

Earlier today, Mayor Bonnie Crombie along with Chief R. Stacey Laforme, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN), and Members of Council raised an Indigenous flag for the first time in Mississauga.
