Windrow Program Launch 2021 – 2022

Applications for our 2021 – 2022 Driveway Windrow Clearing Program will be accepted from Thursday, September 9th until Friday, November 12th.
This season, residents can choose one of two ways to apply:
• As in the past, in-person at City community centres; or,
• New this year, via online application.

The existing sanitary pumping stations (Elmwood, Hiawatha, and Rosemere) and some of the sanitary sewer mains in the general Port Credit East area are experiencing operational challenges.
The Region of Peel has initiated this Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) to develop an integrated and optimized servicing strategy to meet the needs of the existing community and provide for future growth. Read More

Provincial Offences Court Proceedings in Mississauga to Offer Video Conferencing

Starting September 1, 2021, video conferencing will be available for Provincial Offences Court proceedings in Mississauga, via Zoom. The Ontario Court of Justice introduced measures that restricts in-person public access to court proceedings. These measures were put in place because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some court proceedings have already shifted to other remote options such as telephone conferencing. Read More

NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION CENTRE – QEW CREDIT RIVER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

THE PROJECT
The QEW Credit River Improvement Project is underway. Construction on the new QEW Credit River Bridge and the Mississauga Road overpass commenced in Spring 2021. The Project also includes rehabilitation of the existing QEW Credit River Bridge, reconstruction and widening of the existing QEW, landscape improvements and inclusion of active transportation facilities.
The Project extends approximately 2.7 km from west of Hurontario Street to west of Mississauga Road in the City of Mississauga, Region of Peel. The project limits are shown on the key plan below. Read More
