I hope you were able to attend and enjoy the Lakeview Golf Course Winter Walking Trail pilot program this winter. With the milder temperatures, ground beginning to thaw, and the grounds work that is required to prepare for the upcoming golf season, the City will be looking to close the trail as of Friday March 12th. We will be posting signage regarding the closure date onsite and communicate through the City of Mississauga’s social media channels to ensure residents are aware.

This morning our crew is working to locate and repair a watermain leak in front of 1121 Melton Dr. The location of the leak seems to be in the middle of the roadway on the crossing that feeds Meander Ct. because of the location of the excavation the crew has closed the road on Melton Dr between Meander Ct and Stir Cres. Local traffic can still get through. Access from Stanfield rd is currently blocked off. At this time the water will remain on as the leak is minor and the crew needs to follow the flowing water to locate the source of the issue.
