At General Committee this week, the 2021 Annual Status Update of Mississauga’s Transportation Master Plan (TMP) was received showing that more than half (38) of the 57 short-term actions are underway, as of June 2021. On Friday, June 25 until the end of service, GO train service between Union Station and Port Credit GO on the Lakeshore West line will be suspended due to critical work to upgrade our rail infrastructure. The last train to depart from Union Station will be at 7:45 p.m.
Service will resume Saturday, June 26 with a 30-minute delay from all stations including the first train at 5:45 a.m. from Aldershot GO on Sunday, June 27.

Please note that the above will be filming exterior scenes for TV Series “Locke & Key” at Lakefront Promenade Park (800 Lakefront Promenade, Ward 1) South Lot on Friday, June 25th from 5:00pm through to 2:00am, Saturday, June 26th. Prep will be conducted on June 24th and 25th, between 7am-5pm daily. Wrap will be conducted on June 26th between 7am-5pm.
An exemption has been granted to allow for afterhours filming, overnight parking and commercial drone camera use.

On June 28, MiWay is adjusting service frequencies across the network to ensure that service is available where and when customers need it, and the potential for overcrowding is reduced as travel demand level and patterns have changed due to the pandemic.
