Advance Clearing Works Contract
Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) from East of Westfield Drive to East of Proverbs Drive and from South of Primate Road to South of Londonderry Boulevard in the City of Mississauga.

THE PROJECT
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and its Contractor (Gallant Ednut Contracting Inc.) is undertaking an advance works contract along the QEW at the following locations:
• From east of Westfield Drive to east of Proverbs Drive
• From south of Primate Road to south of Londonderry Boulevard
There will be temporary train service changes to Lakeshore West train service on the weekends of February 5-6 and February 12-13.

Beginning Wednesday January 27, 2022, a portion of the sidewalk on the East side of Hurontario from Park Street to Eaglewood Boulevard will be closed for four months.
The sidewalk closure is scheduled in order to construct a retaining wall in relation to the Hurontario LRT project. There will be construction signage to notify pedestrians of the construction and to direct pedestrians to the sidewalk on the West side of Hurontario Street.

Please be advised that Primate Road at Dixie Road will be temporarily closed.
When: Primate Road will be closed from Tuesday, January 26th to Thursday, January 27th between the hours of 6:00pm to 4:00am daily.
Where: Primate Road at Dixie Road.
Why: The Region of Peel will be performing valves maintenance on the watermain.

Following yesterday’s provincial announcement to gradually ease restrictions related to COVID-19, the City of Mississauga is reopening many of its indoor facilities including libraries, community centres, recreational facilities and gyms, sports venues and cultural facilities beginning January 31.
